Field Work
Much of our failure analysis and petrographic work involves examining concrete cores that are sent in to our laboratory. However, CRT personnel can also travel to the job site for a detailed inspection of the concrete in question. During these types of inspections CRT would recommend locations for cores to be removed from the structure. If necessary, these inspections can include non-destructive testing, such as sounding studies for delamination distress or a Swiss Hammer survey to locate potential areas of low strength.
